Our team

The work of TasWaste South is delivered by a small and highly experienced team.

Starting with one employee – CEO Paul Jackson – the TasWaste South team now includes three staff members.

The TasWaste South team will continue to evolve as it leads change and innovation in waste minimisation, management and resource recovery across southern Tasmania.

TasWaste South also employs two Rethink Waste Tasmania staff – a Statewide Coordinator and a regional Engagement Officer. The other two regional waste bodies in Tasmania employ Rethink Waste Tasmania Engagement Officers as well.

Rethink Waste is an education brand developed through a partnership between Tasmania’s three regional waste bodies TasWaste South, Cradle Coast Waste Management Group and Circular North with funding from the Tasmanian Government through the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board’s (WRRB).
