Southern Tasmania Litter Management Plan

The Southern Tasmania Litter Management Plan provides a strategic framework designed to address litter prevention, management, and enforcement across the region. The Litter Action Plan outlines a comprehensive strategy for litter management and reduction, spanning across the Litter Management Framework focus areas, including actions, timeframes, responsibilities, progress tracking, and funding models. The strategy encompasses regional collaboration, source control, diversion to a circular economy, community education and engagement, regulation and enforcement, infrastructure and clean-up, volunteer coordination, targeted programs to stop litter dispersal, and measurement, evaluation, and research.
